About Our Products and Range

Flawless Floors Outlet stocks two core product categories: carpet runners and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring. Our carpet runners are available in wool-blend, loop-pile, cut-pile, flatweave, and sisal-effect constructions, in widths of 60 cm, 67 cm, and 80 cm. Every runner is cut to the length you specify at the time of ordering and finished with a bound or whipped edge and a non-slip backing — there is no additional charge for cutting or finishing.

Our LVT range covers wood-effect planks, stone-effect tiles, and herringbone packs, all specified to a 0.55 mm commercial wear layer as standard. This is the same specification used in rental properties, serviced apartments, and light commercial environments. All LVT products in our range are fully waterproof, compatible with underfloor heating, and use a floating click-lock installation system that does not require adhesive or specialist tools. We hold stock at our Swindon warehouse and dispatch most orders within 2 to 3 working days.

If you are unsure which product is right for your room, traffic level, or subfloor type, our team is happy to advise before you order. Call us on +44 1793 380295 or email info@flawsfloorsout.com with your room dimensions and requirements and we will point you in the right direction.

Products and Ordering

Yes. When ordering a carpet runner, please enter your required length in the order notes at checkout. We cut to your specification at our Swindon warehouse before dispatch. There is no additional charge for cutting.

Measure the length and width of your room in metres and multiply to get the area in m². Divide by the pack coverage shown on each product page and round up to the nearest whole pack. We recommend adding 10% for cuts and waste — 15% for herringbone or diagonal layouts.

Please contact us at info@flawsfloorsout.com or call +44 1793 380295 to request a sample. We will do our best to accommodate sample requests for LVT colourways and runner fabrics subject to availability.

Yes. All LVT products in our range are compatible with both electric and water-fed underfloor heating systems. The maximum recommended surface temperature is 27 degrees Celsius. Do not use a thermostat setting that exceeds this limit.

The wear layer is the clear protective coating on top of the LVT. A 0.3 mm layer is suitable for light residential use. A 0.55 mm layer — which is what we stock across our range — is rated for heavy residential and light commercial use, making it significantly more durable and scratch-resistant.

Delivery and Returns

We deliver to mainland UK addresses. Orders are dispatched from our Swindon warehouse on a tracked courier service. Please contact us for delivery to Scottish Highlands, islands, or Northern Ireland, as surcharges may apply.

Most in-stock orders are dispatched within 2 to 3 working days. Carpet runners cut to length may require an additional working day for preparation. You will receive a tracking reference by email once your order has been dispatched.

Please inspect your order on delivery and note any visible damage on the courier's delivery record. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@flawsfloorsout.com with photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund promptly.

You have the right to return most products within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Products must be unused and in their original packaging. Please note that carpet runners cut to your specified length are made to order and are exempt from the standard right of return unless faulty.

Email info@flawsfloorsout.com with your order number and reason for return. We will confirm the return address and process. Return postage costs are the customer's responsibility unless the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

We do not currently operate a formal exchange service. If you would like a different product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the replacement. Contact us and we will guide you through the process.

Care and Maintenance

Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove grit and debris. Mop with a damp — not wet — mop and a pH-neutral floor cleaner. Avoid steam mops, abrasive cleaners, and solvent-based products, which can damage the wear layer or loosen the click-lock joints.

Vacuum regularly along the pile direction. Spot-clean spills immediately with a clean cloth and a mild detergent solution — blot, do not rub. For deep cleaning, professional carpet cleaning is recommended. Our herringbone flatweave runner is machine-washable up to 30 degrees Celsius.

Our LVT products carry a 0.55 mm commercial wear layer which provides excellent scratch resistance under normal use. We recommend felt pads under furniture legs and an entrance mat at external doors to reduce the ingress of grit, which is the most common cause of surface scratching.

No. Steam mops should not be used on LVT flooring. The high heat and moisture can damage the wear layer, cause the planks to warp, and may void any manufacturer warranty. Use a damp mop with a pH-neutral cleaner instead.
