Remove your dress from its packaging as soon as it arrives and hang it immediately on a padded hanger. This allows any transit creases to drop out naturally over a day or two.
If your gown needs freshening up, use a handheld garment steamer rather than a direct iron. Hold the steamer a few centimetres from the fabric and work in gentle downward strokes. Never apply a hot iron directly to satin or sequin fabric.
