For the most accurate fit, take your measurements wearing only light underwear. Use a soft tape measure and keep it parallel to the floor. The three key measurements for our garments are your bust (measured around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape snug but not tight), your waist (measured around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest point of your torso), and your hips (measured around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, usually about 8 inches below your natural waist).
If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for tunics and dresses to ensure comfortable movement and a relaxed, flattering drape. Our fabrics have a degree of stretch, so a slightly larger size will still look fitted and polished rather than baggy. Different cuts fit differently. Here is what to expect from each style in our collection:
Swing and A-Line Tunics
These are designed to be relaxed through the hips and thighs. If you prefer a more defined waist, size down or add a belt. If you want maximum comfort and coverage, stay true to size.
Longline Tunics
Longlines are cut generously through the body. True-to-size gives a relaxed, layered look. Sizing down gives a more fitted silhouette if you prefer that.
Wrap Dresses
The adjustable tie waist means wrap dresses are very forgiving across sizes. True-to-size is recommended for the best drape and coverage.
Swing and Bardot Dresses
The elasticated neckline and full skirt make these very comfortable. True-to-size gives the intended silhouette. Focus on your bust measurement when choosing.
Shift and Relaxed Dresses
These are intentionally oversized. If you prefer a more fitted look, size down by one. If you love the relaxed, boxy aesthetic, go true-to-size.
