Our Standard Shank Pointe Shoe is the most popular choice for dancers taking their first steps en pointe. The medium-strength shank provides enough support for a developing foot while still allowing the dancer to feel the floor and work through the shoe. The tapered box suits a range of toe profiles, and the satin upper is pre-sewn with a drawstring for easy ribbon and elastic attachment.
The platform is wide enough to offer stability without compromising the aesthetic line, and the shank is pre-scored at the break point to ease the initial breaking-in process. Supplied unribboned so dancers can attach ribbons and elastics to their own preference. Available in pale pink in standard and wide fittings — please note your preferred width in the order comments. Stocked in adult UK sizes 2 through to 8.
